Bodhi leads Galen up to their rooms, setting the cat and the basket down. "How about we take a bath. And get you out of those ridiculous clothes."

Galen softens into the touch, his head touching Bodhi's shoulder as he sighs deeply.

[imthepilot]

Bodhi nuzzles his hair, bringing up a handful of water to wash the sand away. And again, and again, till Galen's hair is wet enough to shampoo.

"You pamper me utterly," Galen says, eyes half-closed in utter lassitude and bliss.

[imthepilot]

"I enjoy it as much as you do." Bodhi points out, massaging the foam of the shampoo into Galen's scalp. He wants all of that other man gone. Every last grain of sand.

[galen_erso]

Galen's hair is long enough to snake around Bodhi's finger; luckily, that other man didn't bother to cut it.

On the surface of the bath water some mermaid scales still float.

Bodhi flicks the scales away, wanting nothing to do with them, however pretty.

He rinses the shampoo away, brushing the water from Galen's hair with long even strokes. Just enjoying the feel of it.

Galen sighs deeply, a happy smile spreading further and further over his face.

Bodhi massages Galen's scalp, reaching for the little bottle of oil to add a few drops of scent to Galen's hair. Their scent - the oil of wood stacked in the ship when they said goodbye the first time, declaring their love.

"So very much," Galen whispers. "Yes."

[imthepilot]

Bodhi draws him up into a kiss, tasting Galen as well as smelling him. He reaches for the conditioner, continuing the massage it into Galen's hair.

"I am so lucky," Galen breathes, opening his eyes and looking at Bodhi with sincere wonder. "I don't deserve you."

"Neither of us do. That's what makes us so lucky to have each other." Bodhi smiles, relaxing now and enjoying the feeling of playing with Galen's hair.

And enjoying the ways Galen is relaxing into him.

"I could melt with sheer gratitude," Galen says, "about the grand truth that you are you, and I am me, and together we make us."

"We are us." Bodhi whispers, rinsing Galen's hair one last time, sharing a kiss. "Ready to get out?"

Galen sighs.

"Yes," he says. "Let's get dry, and snuggled up in bed."

And finally look at whatever nasty the data pad thing has to offer.

Bodhi kisses him again and takes a moment to rinse of his own hair before climbing out and grabbing towels for them. "I love the sound of that."

Galen stands, and accepts a towel, starting to dry himself.

"So do I," he says. "Even if I said it myself."

[imthepilot]

Bodhi chuckles. "Now I know you're back to your old self." He pads naked towards the bed, holding a hand out to Galen.

He glances at the phone but doesn't reach for it. That's up to Galen to choose.

Galen follows, not quite as naked as he's got a towel slung over his shoulder, and he picks up the phone as he leaves the bathroom.

He's curious and wants this out of the way.

Bodhi sprawls out on the bed, making himself comfortable and waiting. He doesn't want to push.

[galen_erso]

Galen snuggles beside him, pulling the covers around them both, and then holds up the phone.

"So, how does this start again?"

[imthepilot]

"That button. At a guess." Bodhi shrugs. "My bet is the screen will be touch activated too."

[galen_erso]

Galen presses the button, then swipes across the screen as the instrument instructs him.

[imthepilot]

Bodhi is a little bit smug about being right. "That symbol looks like a capture. Maybe this thing recorded some images."

[galen_erso]

Galen taps his finger against the symbol, and a tapestry of images opens under his fingers.
