Honeymoon in Hong Kong

Bodhi takes the card Jay give them and opens the door. It opens into large five star hotel suite - champagne chilling in a bucket and roses by the bed. In the corner of the living room are several large crates labelled climbing equipment. There's a welcome pack with maps and travel guides, ferry tickets and the number a car service.

Yuki is busy offering Bodhi some savoury crackers to help steady his stomach and Bodhi accepts, if only to distract himself from the moment of panic.

Yes, they are.

"Do you have a -- safety vest?" Galen asks, looking up from his phone.

[imthepilot]

"Oh, of course." Yuki scrambles to get one out and set it where Bodhi can reach it. "I'm sorry, I should have thought earlier."

Bodhi looks at the bulky orange thing and frowns. "It's okay. Just... if we can leave it somewhere I can grab it if I need it." He flushes, embarrassed.

"Safer to put it on right away," Galen says. "When you need it, it might be too late."

[imthepilot]

"I'm fine, Galen." It comes out a little sharper than he planned. "Sorry, sorry. I'll just stay near the middle of the boat."

Galen scoots over to sit beside him. "You can fly the drone just as well from here."

[imthepilot]

Bodhi nods and gets the drone back in the air, leaning into Galen as he flies it around the next island.

"This is one of the most popular climbing spot." Yuki explains. And there is a lot of people scaling the walls, even at sunset.

"Seems so," Galen says. "But I don't know if we really want to queue up to follow a well-established path."

Yuki shrugs. It's their trip, after all. But he does take them all the way around the island just to be sure. "This is the easiest island to get to by ferry." Unlike those people with a privately charted boat.

Bodhi watches the people climb, pulling the drone back in so he doesn't bother them. That and the camera is pretty poor in the low light. Must fix that.

"I see," Galen says.

Not everybody is here on the invitation of a billionaire's adoptive son.

"We'll think about it."

Losing the light, Yuki quickly shows them around the last of the islands and turns them back to enjoy the view of the city as it lights up.

Bodhi snuggles in close at Galen's side and kisses his cheek. "This is going to be fun."

"That's why we are doing it!" Galen says, smiling fondly in the dusk.

[imthepilot]

Yuki turns the boat back towards the harbour. "Do you need me to make some dinner reservation?"

Bodhi glances to Galen. "Um, thanks but I think we'll just explore and see what we can find."

[galen_erso]

"Just so," Galen says. "Put us ashore, and then we'll see you in the morning."

[imthepilot]

Yuki shrugs. He's use to charters being far more demanding than this.

Bodhi cuddles close to Galen, head resting on Galen's shoulder. Even if they're not meant to be too open anywhere else, they can do it here on the boat.

Galen holds him close, admiring the view in the dusk. "Just look at those rocks," he breathes.

"Can't wait to get up there." Bodhi smiles. "I'm glad we came." Noticing Yuki politely averting his eyes, Bodhi draws Galen into a long, slow kiss.

Which Galen returns in kind.

This is as luxurious, exotic and beautiful as anything you might see and experience on, say, Canto Bight.

Bodhi draws back to smile into Galen's eyes. He reaches up to stroke Galen's face, "I love you. Thank you for this."

[galen_erso]

"Erm, thank you as well?" Galen says, not aware that he even did anything thank-worthy. Except perhaps existing and loving Bodhi, but he did that for purely selfish reasons -- because it felt great!

Bodhi kisses Galen's neck with a breathless sigh. "I can't wait to get you alone."

[galen_erso]

Galen chuckles. "Food later, hotel first?" he suggests.

Didn't the brochures say that food stalls are open late into the night anyway?

[imthepilot]

Bodhi tries to look innocent. "Well, I do have to put the drone away before we go out." The effect being utterly spoilt by the hunger in his eyes.

[galen_erso]

"It would be such a bother to lug it around and then get food on it," Galen agrees, grinning.

[imthepilot]

"Absolutely." Bodhi purrs, giving Galen one last kiss.

Yuki brings them back to the dock, rolling out a plank for them to cross. Which Bodhi does, very, very carefully.

Glad to be back on solid ground, Bodhi glances around enjoying the way the city looks at night. He laughs lightly, still surprised when Yuki opens the car door for them. "Thank you for today, Yuki. That was beautiful."
