There rooms are a bit of a mess. Bodhi spend all night cooking and as much as he cleans as he goes, there's still a lot left to do. But it can wait. He puts the last ingredients away to be made into something else tomorrow.

He turns to Galen, shedding his jacket. "That was enjoyable. I missed markets like that."

"Hot shower." Bodhi corrects, wincing as Galen slips out of him. "Then bed. And sleep in late."

Galen struggles to his feet, and offers a hand to Bodhi. "Careful you don't slip," he says. "Bathtubs can be tricky that way!"

This is his first bath as a grown man, after all -- and included love-making to soften his strength, too.

And the night before of cooking, and all day at the market. Bodhi leans on Galen as he gets out of the tub less than gracefully.

Galen turns on the hot shower and puts his arm around Bodhi to walk him the few steps over there.

Bodhi makes a softly agreeable sound and lets Galen guide him into the shower. Hot water helps and he rinses out his hair. "This was good. We should do more of this." Articulate he is not.

"Gladly," Galen says, spreading some sort of foam over both of them.

Bodhi purrs softly, eyes half closed, letting Galen wash him. He manages enough coordination to return the favour. Or at least to stroke gently at Galen's chest.

Galen chuckles and kisses him; and once the washing is done and the foam sluiced off, he turns off the shower, wraps a towel around Bodhi, and steers him to sit on the toilet lid while Galen dries himself thoroughly, accidentally affording a good view of his body from every angle, if anybody is still interested.

Bodhi wraps the towel closer, keeping himself warm while he admires Galen. And he is interested. And admiring. Greatly.

The goofy smile on his face is very sweet.

"You know you are about the cutest thing ever, like that?" Galen says, smiling fondly at him while rubbing at a sinuous thigh.

"All sleepy and sated?" Bodhi asks, curling a leg up under himself. "Because you look amazing all... wet and drying off?" He might come of a little punch drunk.

[galen_erso]

"Sleepy, sated, and with the sweetest goofy smile I can imagine," Galen says, running the towel over his bottom.

Bodhi frowns and shakes his head, his wet hair falling over his shoulder. "I'm not goofy." But Galen's behind is a very nice view indeed.

[galen_erso]

"More sweet than goofy, now," Galen says, making the towel wander up his back by pulling from the left and right, held tautly between his hands.

"If I'm goofy, you're very handsome." Bodhi sighs, resting his chin on his knee.

[galen_erso]

"Well, you are also beautiful," Galen says, drying his chest, "and occasionally very, very pretty."

Bodhi lets out a dismissive raspberry. "Too thin, too gangly," He yawns widely. "Too covered in scars."

[galen_erso]

"I should draw you and show you," Galen says. "I'm not an artist, but I can do technical drawings, and the beauty of your huge eyes, long lashes and smooth profile, to say nothing about your lovely mouth -- that's quite objectively observable."

He is drying his arms now.

"Now you're just playing with me. With all your big, clever words." Bodhi grins, back to goofy.

[galen_erso]

"I can back that up with proof," Galen says. "Later. After sleeping."

He hangs up the towel, apparently satisfied with his state of dryness.

Bodhi giving his own hair a half-hearted rub with the towel and stands up, his knees still a little wobbly.

"I'd prove how handsome you are. If I wasn't to tired." He gives Galen a long kiss and tows him toward the bedroom, nearly tripping over the litter box.

"Let's do all the proving tomorrow," Galen says, now yawning hugely as well.

They eventually make it to bed, Bodhi sprawling gracelessly. "Hug me? I want to fall asleep in your arms so I can wake up and prove it."

Galen lies beside him and takes him in his arms, yawning again.

"Not letting go," he says. "No chance."

"Love you." Bodhi whispers, kissing Galen's cheek and neck before tucking his head under Galen's chin.

It takes less then a handful of heartbeats before he's falling asleep, arms tight around Galen.

When the nightmares come, and they do, they're mild. Bodhi whimpers, shaking in his sleep but not crying out or thrashing like before.
